Cybersmart, CyberCool
Being Cybersmart and Cybercool is knowing how to handle situations as they arise when you are using the internet, mobile technologies and social networking. A Cybercool student knows that cyberbullying is wrong and reports it if they see it happening. Cybersmart students do not to give their personal information online to someone they do not personally know or in response to a random email. The goal of the lesson is for students to be Cybersmart and Cybercool.
The Higher Ground Education Initiative created an online learning module to compliment existing classroom character-based instruction on appropriate behaviors using computer, mobile, and social media technologies.
